I apologize that I didn't send out an update last week...hope the
schedule's arrival in your inbox was close enough to be useful. Seems
like plenty of folks liked BRIDESMAIDS this weekend, and starting tonight
we have Werner Herzog's new documentary about a recently discovered French
cave with paintings and artifacts that are 32,000 years old in CAVE OF
FORGOTTEN DREAMS at 6:00 and 8:00. X-MEN FIRST CLASS (PG-13) to which
Chris gives high marks, continues at 5:30 and 8:15. These both run
through Thursday night.
Don't forget that we have another installment of IMPROVISION, our
occasional collaboration with the talented folks at ImprovAcadia at 11pm
this Friday night June 24th. Did you see the article by Nan Lincoln about
it in the Islander?
You can sample, among other things, our fabulous MUSSEL BEACH PARTY pizza
at the Wine and Mussel fest and fundraiser for ANGEL FLIGHT this Saturday
1pm - 4pm at Bar Harbor Cellars at Sweet Pea Farm.
Friday we have the opening of the new PIXAR/Disney animation CARS 2, which
runs for two weeks. We also have GREEN LANTERN, which runs through
TUESDAY, irregularly. On Wednesday we open the new TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF
THE MOON just in time for the big Holiday weekend!
